Stigma and discrimination against Persons Living with HIV (PLHIV) still exist on multiple fronts, such as within organisations (for example in the form of workplace policies) or in informal settings. These must be addressed in a consistent and timely fashion in order to maximise and actualise the gains from scientific and clinical advancements in HIV medicine in Singapore.
Join us this World AIDS Day as we stand together to raise awareness about HIV transmission and to challenge misconceptions about transmission and infection. By doing so, we hope to develop empathy and solidarity between PLHIV and healthcare workers.
