The National HIV Programme is conducting a HIV PrEP Prescriber Webinar on 12 December 2020, Saturday. The course seeks to provide GPs, primary care doctors, and people who work with individuals at risk of HIV infection with knowledge around PrEP use, as well as build capacity for the safe provision of PrEP services.

1400 | Guidance for prescribing PrEP | Go through the local guidance for PrEP prescribing and monitoring that was just released in December 2019. |
1430 | Sexual health | Go through the ways to take a thorough sexual history, encouraging other forms of HIV prevention in addition to PrEP and other harm reduction strategies. |
1500 | Monitoring & evaluation of PrEP services | Discuss the principles of what is needed for the PrEP programmes. |
1515 | Challenging situations when prescribing | Go through the potential risks and adverse effects to look out for when prescribing PrEP to clients. |
1540 | GP perspectives | Find out the challenges of PrEP prescribing from the prescribers themselves. |
