Adjunct Associate Professor Jeffery CUTTER, a Public Health specialist, is the Acting Director of the National Tuberculosis Programme at the National Centre of Infectious Diseases.

Adj A/Prof Cutter is an experienced public health specialist and has held various portfolios at Ministry of Health (MOH) for the past 20 years. He is currently a senior consultant at Public Health Group at MOH and Public Health Adviser for NCID.

He also sits in many local and international committees such as National Antimicrobial Taskforce, Technical Advisory Group, Asia-Pacific Strategy on Emerging Diseases, WHO Western Pacific Region (from 2014), ASEAN Health Cluster 2 (Communicable Diseases & other Public Health Threats) (from 2016), etc.

As the Acting Director, Jeffery will be assisting the Executive Director to implement the National Tuberculosis Program (STEP) through developing the national TB strategies together with Deputy Director of National TB Program and working closely with all relevant partners including the Tuberculosis Control Unit (TBCU).
